It is required for those who use the paper cutting machine to use it “safely.”

The paper cutting machine is one of shears according to the Industrial Safety and Health Law. In addition, observation of relevant regulations (Industrial Safety and Health Law, Industrial Safety and Health Law Enforcement Ordinance, Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, Rules for Special Education for Safety and Health, etc.) is required and violation of these regulations is punished.

The operator of the paper cutting machine is required to complete a safety training program.
Clause 1, Article 59 of Law and Article 35 of Ordinance, Clause 3, Article 59 of Law and Article 36 of Ordinance
The Industrial Safety and Health Law stipulates that the employer using a paper cutting machine shall, when a new worker is employed, give the said worker education for safety and/or health concerning work operations and it stipulates that those engaged in the paper cutting task shall not conduct work unless they have not undergone a special education.
Periodic self inspection must be conducted for the paper cutting machine.
Article 45 of Law, Article 15 of Ordinance and Article 135 of Rules
The Industrial Safety and Health Law stipulates that the employer using a paper cutting machine shall conduct self inspection periodically at least once every year and keep the records of the self inspection for three years.
You cannot use the paper cutting machine unless it has passed the model test.
Article 42 of Law and Article 27 of Rules, Article 44 of Law and Article 14 of Ordinance
The Industrial Safety and Health Law stipulates that the employer using a paper cutting machine shall prohibit use of the paper cutting machine not equipped with safety equipment and it stipulates that the paper cutting machine shall undergo a model test.
