Clause 1, Article 59 of Law and Article 35 of Ordinance, Clause 3, Article 59 of Law and Article 36 of Ordinance
The Industrial Safety and Health Law stipulates that the employer using a paper cutting machine shall, when a new worker is employed, give the said worker education for safety and/or health concerning work operations and it stipulates that those engaged in the paper cutting task shall not conduct work unless they have not undergone a special education.
Article 45 of Law, Article 15 of Ordinance and Article 135 of Rules
The Industrial Safety and Health Law stipulates that the employer using a paper cutting machine shall conduct self inspection periodically at least once every year and keep the records of the self inspection for three years.
Article 42 of Law and Article 27 of Rules, Article 44 of Law and Article 14 of Ordinance
The Industrial Safety and Health Law stipulates that the employer using a paper cutting machine shall prohibit use of the paper cutting machine not equipped with safety equipment and it stipulates that the paper cutting machine shall undergo a model test.

Subject learning course scene
Attendees of practical skill training course
Practical skill training is made with an Itotec’s paper cutting machine.
The course takes total 10 hours for subject learning and prac tical skill training.
The target is the paper cutting operator.
A certificate is handed over to those who have completed the course.
Fee of subject learning and practical skill training courses
150,000 yen (plus consumption tax)
The number of participants is between 1 and 6. (Fee for 6 or fewer participants: 150,000 yen) .
20,000 yen is necessary for each additional participant.
Items to be prepared by participant
• Itotec’s paper cutting machine. • Paper (full Shiroku size (788 x 1091mm), A-size (625 x 880mm), Kiku-size (636 x 939mm), or B-size (765 x 1085mm) [bond paper or coated paper]), 3 reams (3,000 sheets).
With this type, practical skill training is supposed to be conducted by the participants themselves.
・Two or more enterprises can participate in our special educat ion program as an association.
・Conduct an additional practical skill training course of two hours at each enterprise.
・A certificate of completion of the subject learning course wi ll be issued to those who have completed the course.
Fee of subject learning course
(Uniform) 150,000 yen (plus consumption tax)
1,000 yen is necessary as an additional payment for each participant for the textbook issued by Japan Printing Machinery Association.

Joined Itotec as development personnel in 1970. Moved to sales division of Tokyo branch in 1979. Worked as the manager of Tokyo branch and returned to headquarters in Aichi as the manager of Sales headquarters in 2003. In the meantime, worked as a lecturer of mechanical and electrical courses at Tokyo binding high-level technology school for 18 years between 1986 and 2004. Won a Governor-of-Tokyo prize in 1996.
Employed as an apprentice to paper cutting machine operator. Cut paper for the first time in 1967. Felt various technical burdens in paper cutting and started to study seriously in 1970. Started to prepare a technical manual in 1972. At the same time, started to cultivate and give guidance to novices. Started to study winding roll, binding and paper cutting in 1993. Participated in the editing work of Paper Cutting Technique Reader in 2001. Challenging further study under a theme of safe operation. Since then, he works as a paper cutting operator and a paper cutting instructor.
Itotec’s service personnel conduct periodic inspection and file a special inspection record.
Each of the second and more machines located in the same site is applicable to a 5,000 yen discount policy from the basic charge.
Three price plans
Consumption tax is necessary in addition. A separate visiting fee will be charged both for regular support service contractors and for non-contractors.
Itotec also provides one-time periodic inspection service.

“eRC Series paper cutting machine” can provide you with assuredness from the first day of operation.
All models of the eRC Series paper cutting machine are equipped with a two-hand operation safety unit and safety beam guards as standard features. These mechanisms have passed the model test.
High quality, economical reconditioned paper cutting machine “FC3”
FC3 is a quality overhauled paper cutting machine. It is equipped with genuine parts that can be procured due to the manufacturer. A two-hand operation safety unit having passed the model test is installed.
Readily installable “model test set”
With the model test set, the paper cutting machine you have been using can be equipped with accessories having passed the model test. Price of model test set: 400,000 yen (plus consumption tax). A separate visiting fee is necessary.
With the model test, examination is made for each machine as to satisfaction of requirements of regulations set forth by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for the purpose of protecting the safety of the operator of the paper cutting machine. Examination is made, too, to judge if the applicant has equipment, etc. necessary for the manufacture and inspection of the machine or the like.
